I enjoy giving memberships to new coaches on our staff or to our former players that become GAs, because I know the kind of support and programming that WeCOACH offers is crucial to keeping women coaches in the profession. When I was a first-time head coach and attended a WeCOACH workshop, it made me see my career in coaching in a different light, one in which I wasn’t alone in the struggles I faced and one where my resolve to stay in coaching had impact beyond just my program and my players. I want other young and/or first-time coaches to get that same experience.
